You'll find some metalic looking crates around, those are ammunition crates that drop ammo for your weapons.Ĭontinue along the path, destroying some more walls and jumping over some lava to get to the next area. Then you'll need to destroy some crates and then you'll be able to buy the Fusion Bomb at a Gadgetron vendor, your first weapon! Use it to blow up the wall and then kill the small enemies.

First of all, all you need to do at first is jump over some obstacles and onto some platforms and that'll be it with the first part. The course itself is not very difficult to go through for the majority of it. Cross the bridge (if you want some bolts, you can destroy the railings), kill the small enemies, and continue down the path.Īfter destroying some crates and killing some more small enemies, you'll eventually come across the Galactic Rangers training course. It's pretty much the substance that heals you in Ratchet and Clank, so be on the lookout if you're ever low on health. Continue along the path and you'll come across a small bridge with some nanotech in the middle. Once you collect holocards, you can look at them in your menu and if you collect a set of specific Holocards (you find them randomly for most), you get various bonuses such as increased holocard and raritanium drop rates.Įnough about that, though. The game explains it to you but basically what they are is collectible cards you get in-game by either finding them on the ground in certain areas on the various planets or by finding them as loot from enemies. Once you kill one of them, a Holocard will drop. Once you're near the monsters, just attack them with your wrench for now. There aren't any other crates in the immediate area so you can rest easy knowing you didn't miss anything. Head down the path with several of those little blueish monsters. We can't access that yet, but once we obtain the Magnebootson Nebula G34, you can head back to Veldin and go up there for some nice crates and the games (technically) first gold bolt! You'll see that there is a magnetic pathway, in the right side of the first image posted above.
